District Executive Undertakes Monitoring of Capital Development Projects in Health, Education, Production, and Water Sectors – FY 2024/2025

APAC District—1-7-2025— The District Executive Committee, led by the District Chairperson Ikomba Asanti Odongo, held a three-day comprehensive monitoring exercise of capital development projects across key service delivery departments—Health, Education, Production, and Water—for the Financial Year 2024/2025.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of government-funded projects to improve service delivery and promote sustainable development across the district.

CAO Engages Management and Staff of Apac General Hospital on Service Delivery Improvement

Apac District, Uganda—23rd June 2025

In a significant move aimed at enhancing health service delivery in the district, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Apac, Mr. Muboki Paul, convened a high-level meeting with the management and staff of Apac General Hospital on 19th June 2025. The engagement was held at the hospital boardroom and brought together key hospital administrators, health workers, and district health officials.

Handover and Takeover Ceremony of the Office of the District Planner

Apac District—The Office of the District Planner in Apac District Local Government has officially undergone a leadership transition following a formal handover and takeover ceremony held at the Planning Unit on 10th June, 2025.

Outgoing District Planner Atim Monica handed over office responsibilities to the incoming District Planner, Agunsi Benedict, in the presence of the Principal Assistant CAO, Internal Auditor, Senior Finance Officer, and Secretary of Finance Planning & Administration.

Apac, Uganda— The Apac District Council has officially approved a UGX 36.5 billion budget for the financial year 2025/2026 during a full council meeting held on Friday, May 30, 2025. The budget, which reflects the district’s commitment to inclusive development and improved service delivery, was unanimously endorsed following deliberations that prioritized education, healthcare, infrastructure, and agricultural productivity.

Apac District Reports Progress in Implementation of Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project to Stakeholders

Apac, Uganda— The Apac District Local Government, through the Department of Production, has issued a status update on the ongoing implementation of the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation (UCSAT) Project in the district.

Launched in December 2024, the UCSAT project aims to build the resilience of farming communities to climate change through the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, improved access to climate-resilient technologies, and enhanced market linkages.
