Engagement Meeting by Team from State House Enhances Commitment to Effective and Efficient Service Delivery in Apac District

Apac District – [22/5/2025] – A high-level delegation from the State House convened an engagement meeting with local leaders and stakeholders in Apac District to strengthen service delivery and address key community concerns. The meeting, held at Apac District Council Hall, underscored the government’s commitment to improving governance, accountability, and public service efficiency in the region.
The State House team, led by Lt. Col. (Rtd.) Ambako Kibrai, Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Mobilization, attached to the RDCs Secretariat, Office of the President, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between central and local governments to ensure that services reach the intended beneficiaries promptly and effectively. Discussions centered on critical areas such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and agricultural support, with a focus on eliminating bureaucratic bottlenecks and enhancing transparency.
Key Highlights of the Meeting:
· Strengthening Accountability: The Ambako reiterated the need for local leaders to uphold integrity and accountability in resource management to maximize development outcomes.
. Community Feedback Mechanism: A framework for regular community feedback was proposed to ensure that government programs align with the needs of the people.
·Quick Wins Initiative: Immediate interventions were identified, including the rehabilitation of key infrastructure and improved access to essential services.
In his remarks, Hon. Ikomba Asanti Odongo, District Chairperson, expressed gratitude for the engagement, stating, "This dialogue marks a significant step toward addressing service delivery gaps in our district. We are committed to working closely with the State House to implement sustainable solutions."
The State House team pledged continued support and periodic follow-ups to monitor progress. The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of partnership and a shared vision for a more prosperous Apac District.
