CAO Ejuku urges Apac District Staff to Spend Wisely during the Festive Season

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Apac, Mr. Olaboro Emmy Ejuku, has advised staff of Apac District Local Government to exercise financial discipline during the ongoing festive season to avoid hardship in the month of January.

Mr. Ejuku made the remarks while addressing staff during the end-of-calendar-year meeting held at the District Council Hall on Monday, December 22nd, 2025, where employees from various departments gathered to reflect on the year’s performance and prepare for the year ahead.

He cautioned staff against excessive spending driven by festive excitement, reminding them that January often comes with financial pressures such as school fees, rent, and household responsibilities.

“Let’s celebrate responsibly. December will end, but January will surely come. Spend wisely so that you do not suffer when the festive mood fades,” Mr. Ejuku emphasized.

The CAO encouraged staff to prioritize essential needs, plan their finances carefully, and consider saving part of their income to cushion themselves during the post-festive period. He noted that financial stability among staff contributes to increased productivity and a sense of peace of mind at work.

Mr. Ejuku further commended the staff for their commitment and dedication in service delivery throughout the year, acknowledging the challenges faced but applauding their resilience in ensuring Government programs reached the people of Apac.

The end-of-year meeting also provided a platform for departmental heads to review achievements, highlight challenges, and share expectations for improved service delivery in the coming year.

Staff members welcomed the advice, describing it as timely and practical, especially as many families prepare for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The meeting concluded with a call for unity, professionalism, and renewed commitment to serving the people of Apac District in the coming year.
